|
New complexes cis-[Mo©üO©ý(Hapdhba)©ü], trans-[UO©ü(Hapdhba)©ü], [Pd(Hapdhba)Cl(H©üO)], [Pd(bpy)(Hapdhba)]Cl, [Ag(bpy)(Hapdhba)], [Ru(Hapdhba)©ü(H©üO©ü], [Rh(Hapdhba)©üCl(H©üO)] and [Au(Hapdhba)Cl©ü] are reported, where H©üapdhba is the Schiff-base derived from 2-aminopyrimidine and 2,4-dihydroxy benzaldehyde. The complexes were characterized by IR, electronic, ©öH NMR and mass spectra, conductivity, magnetic and thermal measurements. The inhibitive effect of H©üapdhba for the corrosion of copper in 0.5 M HCl was also determined by potentiodynamic polarization measurements.
